The Cult is a surreal and visually striking short film by Montreal duo LM Chabot.

After discovering his blood-soaked daughter dead in the bathtub, David Bryson attends a self-help group to help save him from his ghostly nightmares. But when a group of mysterious cult-like women offer to help him resurrect his daughter. David's choices will not just decide his fate... but the fate of his dead daughter's SOUL.

In a magnificent castle, personalities will take part in an experience they will never forget. A game of lies, manipulation, and betrayal, hosted by Éric Antoine, where anything goes. Among the players, some will be designated as traitors, while the others will be loyal. Day and night, the traitors must lie about their true identity, devise strategies to deceive the loyal players, and secure their place in the game. To achieve this, they must win challenges, withstand psychological pressure, outwit strategies, and mislead their enemies. Most importantly, they must avoid elimination to be the last one standing and win the game!

With the help of Native American, Dallas Goldtooth, Rich explores a different idea of what the American Indian is and what life is like for them today. He not only questions the screen image of the 'savage Indian' in films such as Soldier Blue, Stagecoach and A Man Called Horse, but looks at the written one, through literature such as The Last of the Mohicans, Black Elk Speaks and Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee.
